Custom Fonts
-------------------------

The sig templates use custom fonts. These fonts are included in the "FONTS" folder and it is recommended that you install these fonts before opening the sig templates if you wish to use these fonts.

Saving sigs with transparent backgrounds in Photoshop
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Photoshop if you want to use one of the sigs that has a transparent background, here are the steps for doing so:

1. Go to File>Save As and from the "Format" drop down menu, select "CompuServe GIF (*.GIF)", name your file and click on "Save".

2. A dialogue box comes up. Make sure you have these settings:

Colors - 256
Forced - Black and White
Transparency - (make sure it's checked)

Under Options:

Matte: None
Dither: Diffusion
Amount: 75%
Check Preserve Exact Colors

Then hit OK

One more box comes up - GIF Options

Select Normal and hit OK and you're done.

Now when you post your sig on a forum, the background color of the forum should show through the transparent area on the sig.
